Jenay and I are so excited about this upcoming school year! This will be our first official year with a team of senior ambassadors, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. One thing we both wholeheartedly agree on is our passion for capturing senior memories. There’s just something so special about this season—it’s like the final chapter of being a kid. It’s definitely a bittersweet feeling.
If I remember correctly, senior year flies by in the blink of an eye. So much happens in just one year—from waiting on SAT scores and deciding on post-grad plans to senior sunrise and that last school dance. We want to make sure we capture every single moment.
What I’m most looking forward to is showcasing each of our seniors’ unique personalities and quirks through creative, themed photo shoots. For example, we’re planning an “Elegant Night” shoot where everyone dresses in their prom attire for a city rooftop session—glamorous and unforgettable! And for “Decision Day,” they’ll come repping their chosen schools with banners, gear, and all the pride.
One of the ideas I’m especially excited about is our mini yearbook project. We want to give each senior something tangible at the end of the year—a keepsake that captures all the fun, growth, and memories they’ve made.
Honestly, there are so many ideas and just not enough time! And to top it all off, both Jenay and I have our oldest kids graduating this year, which makes everything feel even more special and meaningful.
Here’s to a year full of moments we’ll never forget!
