We take the responsibility of photographing your wedding day very seriously. While emergencies are rare, we understand that unexpected situations can happen.

In the unlikely event that one of us is unable to attend, we will work quickly to find a trusted professional photographer who can step in and provide the level of care and service your wedding day deserves.

Our goal is always to make sure you feel supported, confident, and cared for throughout the entire experience.

What happens if you get sick or have an emergency?

Yes! Every Wild Roots wedding collection includes two photographers.

Having two photographers allows us to capture your day from multiple perspectives and preserve moments that happen simultaneously. While one of us is with you, the other may be capturing your partner getting ready, your family’s reactions, the details you carefully planned, or the little moments happening in between.

Together, we’re able to tell a more complete story of your wedding day — capturing not only the moments you see, but the ones you may have missed.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Every wedding day is unique, so the number of final images varies depending on your coverage, timeline, and all the moments that naturally unfold throughout your day.
On average, you can expect approximately 50–100 fully edited, high-resolution images per hour of coverage. For a full wedding day, most couples receive around 400–800 images that tell the complete story of their celebration — from the quiet moments before the ceremony to the joy, laughter, and emotions shared with the people you love most.

While we provide these ranges as a guide, we’ll admit… we have a hard time letting go of the good ones. You may find a few extra favorites tucked into your gallery because we believe your memories are worth keeping.

Your images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can easily download, share with family and friends, and enjoy your memories for years to come. We also make it simple to order professional prints, albums, and artwork whenever you’re ready to turn your favorite moments into keepsakes.

How many photos are typically included?

We love traveling to capture your love story! Travel fees may apply for weddings outside our included service area and are based on the location and distance from our home base in Lake Jackson, Texas.

If you’re planning a wedding somewhere new or a destination celebration, we would love to hear about it. Reach out with your plans, and we’ll create a custom quote based on your location.

When do you charge travel fees?

Absolutely! Your gallery includes a personal print release, so you’re welcome to print and share your images however you’d like.

We do recommend ordering professional prints and artwork through your gallery because we work with trusted professional labs that are carefully calibrated for quality, color, and longevity. This helps ensure your printed memories look as beautiful as they do on screen.

If you choose to print elsewhere, we’re always happy to offer guidance and help you choose the best options for preserving your images.

Can we print the photos ourselves?

We know how excited you’ll be to relive your wedding day, and we can’t wait for you to see your images! You’ll receive a sneak peek shortly after your wedding, with your full gallery delivered within 8–12 weeks.

Your private online gallery will include your fully edited, high-resolution images that you can easily download, share with family and friends, and use to order professional prints, albums, and artwork.

We take great care in preparing each image so your final gallery reflects the emotions, details, and moments that made your day uniquely yours.

When will we receive our photos?

We would love to hear about your wedding plans! Fill out our inquiry form with whatever details you have so far, whether that’s your date, venue, or simply the vision you’re dreaming about for your day.

Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll reach out with availability, answer any questions you may have, and make sure we’re the right fit for your wedding.

To officially reserve your date, we’ll complete a contract and a 25% non-refundable retainer. Once your date is secured, we’ll begin planning together and counting down to your wedding day!
