Okay, letâs just get this out of the way: if youâve been following our blog, youâve probably noticed that thereâs no real rhyme or reason to the posts I (Ashley) share. đ¤ˇââď¸ But hey, thatâs just how I roll! If you knew me personally, youâd know Iâm all about that spontaneous, no-filter life. When Jenay first suggested we start a blog, I was totally hesitant. I mean, I had NO idea what I was supposed to write about⌠but also, I have so much to say! đ
So buckle up, because every week youâll get a mix of topicsâwhether itâs business, homeschooling, mom-life , gardening, fitness, or whatever random thought pops into my head. đżđŞ If you’ve made it this far into my chaos, THANK YOU for sticking with me! You rock. đ
Now, letâs talk homeschooling. Y’all, tomorrow is APRIL, and for most families, the school year is starting to wind down. Not for us, though. đ Nope, our kids are the lucky ones who have to school year-round. But donât feel too bad for them! Itâs not because weâre mean moms (well, maybe just a little đ¤), but because theyâre busy 24/7, and there are just never enough hours in the day to finish everything they need to.
To my fellow homeschool parents, I just want to say this: YOU GOT THIS! đ Weâre all in this together, and Iâm here to remind you that every homeschool looks different, and thatâs what makes it so amazing. Whether youâre schooling year-round like us or wrapping up your curriculum at the âtraditionalâ end of the year, itâs okay. đ
Homeschooling is PersonalâAnd Thatâs Beautiful
Whatâs great about homeschooling is that youâre in control. You decide the schedule, the pace, and how things go down. If your kid needs to keep going through the summer months, so be it! đ If theyâre not quite done with their curriculum but you feel itâs time to move on, thatâs perfectly fine too. đŻ
I want to remind you that youâre doing the very best you can. đ No two homeschools look the same, and thatâs what makes our journeys unique and special. Whether you have an organized, picture-perfect classroom or youâre doing school in pajamas at the kitchen table, itâs your homeschool, and itâs working for you and your kids. đ
Homeschooling doesnât have to fit into a neat box. You do what works for your family and celebrate the small victories along the way. đ Maybe today was a tough day (we all have them!), but tomorrow is a new chance to keep going!
So, fellow homeschoolers, whether youâre wrapping up the school year or still going strong, remember: You are doing an amazing job. đ You are creating an environment where your kids can grow and thrive, and thatâs what matters most. Letâs keep supporting each other, and continue to celebrate the journeyâchaos, mess, and all. đđŞ
Key Takeaways for Homeschooling Parents:
- Every homeschool looks different. There is no âone-size-fits-allâ approach.
- Youâre doing the very best you can, and thatâs enough. đŻ
- Donât stress if your schedule doesnât match traditional school calendars. You are in control! đ

Two of our girls and their friends participated in this year’s Chalk the Block competition. They didn’t place, but we are so proud of them and are always impressed with their creativity.
