Busy Moms, Big Moments, and a Whole Lot of Heart

Remember us? Whew—these past few weeks have been insane! Life happens, doesn’t it? I had every intention of sending out a blog every Monday, but yeah… life. Happens. Ha!

Wrapping Up the Homeschool Year 🎓

I don’t know about y’all, but the end of the school year is always a whirlwind for us. We’ve been knee-deep in co-op projects, and to top it off, Jenay and I are 2 of the 5 moms on our homeschool graduation committee. After months of planning, we finally celebrated our grads this past Saturday—and it was AMAZING! Every ounce of hard work paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it all came together.

4-H Achievements & Proud Mom Moments

Our kids have been on fire lately! They’ve taken part in 4-H competitions—everything from robotics and food challenge to vocal performances and band solos. They’ve worked SO hard, and we’re beyond excited to share that four of our kids are advancing to STATE this summer. Cue the proud mom squeals! We’ll definitely be cheering them on from the sidelines.

Behind the Scenes with Penguin Project 🎭

I’ve also been working on something near and dear to my heart—costumes for the Penguin Project.
If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a beautiful nonprofit that gives kids with special needs the chance to perform modified Broadway shows. It’s full of joy, talent, and heart. Getting costumes ready for 50 kids has been no small task, but it’s been incredibly rewarding.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get busier—Jenay and I shot our very first wedding!
Y’all… it was SO much fun. Remember a few posts ago when I said I needed to work on arm strength to carry those heavy lenses all day? Yeah, I wasn’t kidding. My arms are still sore! Guess those workouts are sticking around.

Life Is Full, But We’re Still Here

So yes—we’re still here. We haven’t gone anywhere. Just living through one of those go-go-go seasons where things are exciting, a little exhausting, and totally worth it.
