Okay, real talk—getting in front of a camera can feel kinda awkward, right? You start overthinking everything… Where do I put my hands? Am I smiling too much? What do I do with my face?! 😆 We totally get it.

But what you might not know is that we get nervous too! Yep, even as photographers, Jenay and I (Ashley) feel those little pre-session jitters before every shoot. Not because we don’t know what we’re doing (we totally do 😉), but because we care SO much about making sure you have an amazing experience and LOVE your photos.

A lot goes on behind the scenes before we ever meet up for your session. We don’t just show up and start snapping—we’re planning, scouting, and making sure everything is just right for YOU!

👉 Jenay is our lighting and location queen 👑—she’s out there finding the dreamiest backdrops, the best golden hour glow, and the perfect spots to bring your vision to life. She’s like a ninja with lighting, making sure everything looks soft, flattering, and magical. ✨

👉 I (Ashley) am all about making you feel comfortable and confident. Posing can feel weird, but I promise, I’ll guide you the whole time so it never feels forced. We’ll laugh, move around, and have fun—you won’t even realize you’re being “posed.” 😉
